Heading to the Shark Tourney.

ImageWow! I can’t believe it’s the Shark Tourney time again, or should I say already. The summer is flying by and we have had some awesome tuna fishing trips. With the slowest start in the history of my career, I have caught right back up to last season and we have caught well over 20 bluefin tuna out east, right on track with last season. All on the troll and I doubt that another boat has had that kind of action. We seem to have been able to catch’m even on the slow bite days. And we have some of the best fishing ahead of us yet to come. The crazy thing about this summer is how two new colors have really taken over my spread with the Ghost and the Mad Max splash bars really producing with the Ghost bar by far the hottest on both boats. I am fishing it on the left short rigger on both the Tammy Rose and Tuna Fever and it has been deadly. The fishing out east has been good and we got a nice fat 53 incher yesterday trolling on the mid day slack out on Tuna Fever. Guess what bar? Yes.. the Ghost again. Crazy!!! The bite was really good again out there today too!!

So it’s the night before we head over to OB for the Monster Shark Tourney and my charter is pumped. Two days of rod bending action battling the sharks. Always a good time and a great format and maybe this year Team Hook-Up! get’s a little payback. Oh no.. another tourney.. here we go. Once we get back we start tuna fishing big time and if you want to go with us you better call now because August is our busiest month and we book up quickly. Call today if you want to fish with the only full time bluefin tuna charter boat east of Cape Cod. Tuna.. it’s what we do. Talk with you all soon when we get back from the shark Tourney. “It’s All About The Bite!”  Capt. Eric
